On this edition of Observations, host Bob Fisher welcomes the President and CEO of Three Square, Brian Burton as he discusses the Three Square program and how it benefits the homeless and underfunded citizens of the state of Nevada. Brian talks about the services that Three Square provides and where the funding comes from to feed the masses. There are one out six households that are considered food insecure. | The first program of the new year centered around the Ronald McDonald House in Southern Nevada with references to the Ronald Mcdonald House in Northern Nevada. Special guest Allyson McCarthy, executive director of Ron McDonald Charities for greater Las Vegas brought us up-to-date on the activities and purposes of the Ronald McDonald House and its charities. She spoke about all the families who have been served by the house and where the organization is going in 2012. It is a very inspirational program that everyone should take time to listen to. |
